Get it on your phone

1. Press Build this social media app and sign in with Google. The agent sets up the online database with the app.
2. In the emulator preview, sign up two test members, post from one and like and comment from the other.
3. Ask for changes in plain words: "add a #events channel", "round profile photos", "only admins can post in Notices".
4. Press Download APK and install it on your Android phone, then share the file with your first members.

Write your moderation rules into the first request. "New members need approval" and "admins can delete any post" are easier to build in from the start than to add later.

Launch small, then grow

Community apps live or die in their first week. Before inviting anyone, post ten good items yourself so the feed does not look empty. Invite the twenty most active people from your existing group chat first; their posts set the tone for everyone who follows. Keep to one feed, comments and admin notices at launch, and add stories, polls or channels only when members ask for them twice. Act on reports within a day, because trust is the real product. Watch what people post in the first weeks and shape the app around it: a running club that only shares routes might want a map on each post, while an alumni group might want job listings instead. Each change is one sentence in the chat and a fresh APK.
